Scholarships

The scholarship you qualify for is probably not the one you've heard of

Malaysia's best-known awards receive thousands of applications. Meanwhile, hundreds of institutional scholarships quietly go under-claimed every intake. We keep the register — and we check you against all of it.

Four kinds of money on the table

Merit awards

Keyed to SPM, UEC, STPM or A-Level results. Full tuition waivers typically ask for 8A+ and above; partial waivers of 25–75% start around 5As. These stack with PTPTN at most institutions.

Need-based bursaries

Assessed on household income, usually against B40 and M40 bands. Documentation matters more than grades here — we help families prepare income evidence that passes review the first time.

Talent & leadership grants

Sports, performing arts, debate, e-sports and student leadership all carry money at specific institutions. These are the least advertised awards in the country — and among the easiest to win with the right portfolio.

Destination scholarships

Australian, British, New Zealand and Irish universities all run awards specifically for Southeast Asian applicants, worth 10–50% of tuition. Most are automatic once you tick the right box — if you know the box exists.

How matching works

You share your profile

Results, household band, activities and target courses — fifteen minutes, in person or over a call.

We run the register

Your profile is checked against every live award across our 210+ partner institutions, including renewal conditions and stacking rules.

You get a ranked list

Each match comes with the award value, the real odds based on past cohorts, the deadline and what the application needs from you.

We file alongside your application

Scholarship paperwork goes in with your course application, not after it — timing that alone rescues awards students routinely lose.

Hard-won advice from nine thousand applications

Read the renewal clause first

A 100% waiver that demands a 3.75 CGPA every semester can turn into full fees in year two. Sometimes the 50% award with a 3.0 renewal bar is worth more over three years.

Apply before results if allowed

Many institutions accept scholarship applications on forecast results. Early files meet full award pools; late files meet whatever is left.

Stack deliberately

A partial waiver plus a bursary plus PTPTN can cover an entire degree — but stacking rules differ by institution, and assuming instead of asking costs real money.

Twenty minutes could be worth RM 40,000

That's the median award our matched students received last year. Bring your results and let the register do its work.
